Senior Personal Insurance Account Manager

Location: Portland, Maine (Hybrid – Remote Fridays!)

Compensation: $78,400 – $89,600 OTE

Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + up to 12% annual bonus

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work directly with agency partners, referral sources, and underwriters to grow and retain a portfolio of personal insurance clients—many of whom are part of our

Private Client Group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client renewals and conducting thorough coverage reviews
  • Quoting new business and securing optimal carrier placements
  • Identifying opportunities to round out accounts and strengthen coverage
  • Delivering proactive, consultative service with exceptional attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate client records in EZLynx (our agency management system)
  • Staying current on carrier products and market trends to better serve clients
  • Supporting special projects and agency growth initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in a personal lines Account Manager role, ideally with Private Client experience
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Professional insurance designations (e.g., CIC, CISR, CPRIA) are a strong plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Experience with EZLynx or other agency management systems preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Lotfey Dennett is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, to be based in their Portland, Maine office Monday-Thursday, with a work from home Friday option.

Requirements of the Commercial Insurance Account Manager:

  • Active P&C licenserequired.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.
  • Strong technical orientation and interest in using software and technology to improve processes and create efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • EZLynx Management System experience preferred.
  • Ability to work from the Portland office Monday-Thursday.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary between$80-90k
  • Bonus potential based on agency performance

Responsibilities of the Commercial Insurance Account Manager:

  • Serves and grows the book of assigned clients by providing extraordinary service, educating the client, identifying revenue growth opportunities and generating referrals.
  • Manage client renewals and handle ongoing servicing requests.
  • Seek opportunities to round out existing accounts to fill any voids in the customers insurance portfolio.
  • Maintain product knowledge to provide a high level of service for a variety of clients.
  • Utilize EZLynx management system as the primary source of maintaining client information and policy management.
  • Support team members and perform other duties and projects as assigned.
